Air Partner called in FormusPro and, after analysing their data requirements, we implemented automated, bi-directional data flow synchronisations between systems.

TL;DR

FormusPro worked hand in hand with AirPartner to optimise the efficiency of the user journey flows for all of their operational business functions by automating data synchronization between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and a tertiary, bespoke CRM system, developed by a 3rd party software company.

The project was iterated over multiple sprints, establishing a healthy feedback loop throughout the design and development.

FormusPro collaborated with a 3^rd party software company to create a successful solution.

With the solution, we adopted an automated, testing-first approach, which minimised / eliminated bugs and issues during the software delivery lifecycle.

AirPartner is a global aviation services group, with nearly 60 years of experience in aircraft charter and industry-leading aviation safety & security solutions, serving an international client base. Founded in 1961 as a school for military pilots converting to civilian flying using flight simulators and a fleet of Beagles, trading under the name Airways Training, they’ve evolved over the last 60 years into the global aviation services group they are today.

What Was Delivered

We delivered a solution that allowed automated data flow between systems, with data resiliency and recoverability at the fore of the implementation.

This involved building cloud-based applications, developed in C# to integrate with D365 and a third-party system to synchronize data between these applications in near real-time.

Any failures caused by, for example validation, are now automatically alerted via emails with pertinent information, facilitating quick resolution and enabling effective data hygiene.

Azure Dev ops pipelines supporting this project were also delivered to automate and audit deployments, whilst also safeguarding against regression by running automated tests before each deployment.

This code was handed over successfully to AirPartner during training sessions facilitated by FormusPro, to ensure the success of this in the longer term.
