New UX For Field Service Mobile Now In General Availability

Microsoft’s new UX for Field Service Mobile is in Generally Availability, offering a modern, intuitive interface with enhanced Copilot capabilities, customisable lists and improved admin controls for frontline workers.

Microsoft have just announced that their new user experience (UX) for Field Service Mobile has gone into general availability.

Their stated goal for the new UX was to deliver a more modern, intuitive experience for frontline workers using Field Service Mobile.

The number of clicks required by technicians to accomplish in app tasks has been reduced, as well as step-by step instructions for troubleshooting, should it be needed. It goes without saying that new Copilot capabilities have been added that will allow users to prep for document work much more easily through something called Copilot Work Order Summarise and Update.

But that’s not all…

  • New Agenda View… With Copilot Capabilities: This new view will offer intuitive access to service technicians to view and update bookings, with multiple, helpful shortcuts. It also comes with infinite bidirectional scrolling to offer faster access to past or future bookings, with visual updates so you can distinguish between different statuses. Users will also now be able to customise and display additional information on the agenda based on specific scenarios. And finally, Copilot (preview) will be available on every booking!
