What Is A Release Wave?
Twice a year, Microsoft release a rollout schedule of all the updates to their suite of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform products. Each wave is carried out in stages, with each update assigned a specific rollout date.
This ensures a stable release and allows early adopters to get preview access to features, and consequently flush out any bugs!
In this article, we’re going to run you through the highlights of the Release Wave 2 updates for Copilot Sales.
Upcoming Features
- Copilot Dashboard – You’ll now be able to see adoption data of Copilot for Sales to earn trust and justify the investment.
- Update Dynamics Directly From Post-Meeting Insights – from the post-meeting insights page you will now be able to create new Dynamics records, save the AI-generated meeting summary to a record and connect a meeting to a record
- Create Follow-Up Emails From Meeting Summaries – to send AI-generated follow-up emails from Teams including a summary and action items

The more astute of you would have noticed a running theme in these new features… AI integration.
With this rollout, Microsoft are driving towards a future of heavily assisted everyday processes.
The organisations that FormusPro look after will benefit from better communication with their customers, better organisation of their time, and better utility of their resources. Copilot is set to be integrated into all the software we’ve used for decades, and it will become the “new normal” for workplaces.
