An out of the box DocuSign connector in a Power Automate Cloud Flow listens for completed DocuSign envelopes. It reads the contents and creates or updates the data in Dataverse as required. A copy of the completed DocuSign document is saved in SharePoint where it can be easily accessed and retained in line with data policies.
Both the incoming and outgoing automated processes notify internal and external contacts regarding the current stage of their document and provide links to any records created as a result.
Users in Dynamics 365 Sales, with an appropriate record open, can now select a DocuSign document template and automatically populate and send the it at the click of a button. The correct recipients are picked by the automated process and necessary fields populated with data from the submitting record.

The outgoing integration now uses a Power Automate Cloud Flow triggered at the press of a button within Dynamics Sales.
Users can now select from a list of document templates within DocuSign. These documents serve various purposes and have different combinations of fields and recipients.
The Cloud Flow uses a combination of out-the-box DocuSign connectors and purpose-built custom connectors using DocuSign’s REST API to read the document template’s details from DocuSign and create and send the document out to the correct recipients and with all fields populated from the data in Dataverse. All of this is at the press of a single button on the part of the user.
Similarly, the incoming integration listens for completed envelopes and automatically creates or updates the data in Dataverse without any human intervention.
It saves a copy of the document to SharePoint and links it to the record in Dataverse whilst emailing the relevant user that a response has been received and links to the record created or updated so they can continue with the manual part of the process.
An additional Cloud Flow runs when users open records in D365 Sales where a DocuSign document has been submitted to update a field on the form with the current DocuSign stage.
The whole process allows users to send, receive, and track DocuSign documents entirely within Dynamics Sales without ever having to log into DocuSign.
